El Chorro
El Chorro is a colossal, vertically stratified ravine whose walls can be 400 metres deep. It is one of the most popular nature spots among visitors.

Antequera
Antequera is a buzzing market town and is home to many churches, including the Iglesia de Nuestra Senora del Carmen, with its impressive Baroque altarpiece. Within the town a hilltop castle was built in the thirteenth century of the site of a Roman fort. The Plazo de Toros is home to a museum of bullfighting.

Fuente de Piedra
The large lake near Fuente de Piedra is just a short drive away from Antequera. The lake is the most extensive within Andalucia and is a nature reserve. The lake is the most important breeding ground for flamingos in the Iberian Peninsula and they can be clearly seen from the edge of the lake or from the modern visitors' centre.
